The Alaska International Senior Games (AISG) were established in 2003 to offer adults, age 50 and better, the opportunity to compete with peers in a variety of activities and, more generally, to enhance their fitness, health, and quality of life. AISG has no paid employees and relies on more than 100 volunteers to put on a 10-day program of Games in 20+ sports. Activities range from mini-golf to Olympic sports; there is something for everyone. In even-numbered years, participants can qualify for the National Senior Games, which are held in odd-numbered years. Our goal is to promote healthy aging by providing an atmosphere where challenge, fun and friendliness go hand in hand.
AISG in Fairbanks, Alaska, is the affiliate and qualifying site for the National Senior Games Association. Many other states have Senior Games as well, including the following.
