Promoter stipend applications are being accepted through September 20th. If you are attending an event where there are likely to be senior athletes who might consider attending our Games in the future, and you’re willing to spend some time promoting AISG, we’ll defray some of your expenses. It’s easy and fun, and a great way to meet athletes from other areas.

This month, we’ll consider applications for AISG Athletes who are attending the Nevada Senior Games and/or the Huntsman World Senior Games in Fall 2017. We’ll also consider other senior sporting events through the end of the year. You can find the application here.

See you here in Fairbanks in August!

AISG is pleased to announce that it is once again providing a Spirit of the Games Grant and that applications are available now.

The Grant is being offered by the Alaska International Senior Games to a resident Alaskan senior athlete who would like to compete at the National level. Often the cost to attend the NSGA Championships is out of reach for many AISG athletes. If you would like to compete at the National Senior Games Championships in Birmingham, Alabama, during June 2-15, 2017, but are finding it difficult to arrange funding to support such a trip, please apply for this Grant.

One Grant in the amount of $1,000 is available to be awarded in 2017. Applications are due February 15, 2017. You can download the grant application here: [Sorry! Application period is closed.]
