The Alaska International Senior Games is excited to move forward to host the 2021 Games in Fairbanks and North Pole! In following our main priority to promote the health and safety of our athletes and volunteers, we have trimmed our slate of events. Our social events–the Opening Ceremonies/Gala Games, Dance, and Celebration of Athletes–will remain on hold until 2022. AISG is offering sixteen different events to enjoy celebrating your active life! Hopefully, we will be returning with a full slate in 2022!

New Protocol

While the protocol regarding health concerns is constantly changing, we anticipate following current CDC, state, and local guidelines. Athletes and volunteers should expect the following.

  • A waiver with specific COVID-19 language will be signed by athletes when registering and volunteers prior to starting. Be sure to read it carefully.
  • Upon arrival at events athletes and volunteers will complete a symptom self survey.
  • Bring a mask to all your events.
  • Hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes will be available.
  • Physical distancing and hand washing are encouraged.
  • Refreshment will not be provided, so if you need some, plan to bring your own.
  • Bring your own water.
  • Some sports may have additional requirement, check with your commissioner.
  • Spectators are not encouraged.
