August 18, 2017 (Fairbanks Golf Course)

Match Play: Individuals play 18 holes of Match Play for one point.  Ties are left as ties with each participant scoring 1/2 point.
Partner competition will be the first 9 holes as “Fourball” for one point with ties left as ties.  The second 9 holes will be “Foursome” for one point with ties left as ties.

Fourball competition: The hole is played with each player playing his/her own ball.  The scores are compared at the end of the hole to determine the winner or if there is a tie.  Points are recorded by the team as in individual match play.

Foursome competition: Starts on hole #10.  For each team of two players, one player will tee off on the odd holes (starting with 11) and the other player will tee off on the even holes ( starting with 10).  After the tee shot, the players will alternate shots through the holeout.  Scores will be compared to determine individual hole points as in individual match play.  Play continues until one team wins.  Ties are left as “all square” with each team scoring 1/2 point.
